CHARLES J. WALSH
Charles J. Walsh has a wealth of experience and knowledge in all aspects of investigations, forensic evidence collection, preservation and analysis. He has utilized his knowledge to train over 20,000 law enforcement officers on the federal, state and local levels in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. A nationally recognized expert in fingerprint identification, his instruction has enabled law enforcement officers to be qualified as fingerprint technicians and court qualified experts. As a Special Agent with the FBI, he supervised numerous investigations, including, organized crime, extortionate credit transactions, kidnapping, bank robberies, theft from interstate shipment, interstate transportation of stolen property and motor vehicles, and crimes on government reservations. While serving with the FBI, Mr Walsh established an Evidence Response Team (ERT) in the Boston Division to conduct high-profile crime scene investigations. As a result of this initiative, the Director of the FBI ordered all 56 FBI Field Divisions to organize an ERT. Under Mr. Walsh’s leadership, the Boston ERT investigated the World Trade Center bombing, the bombing of two American military complexes in Saudi Arabia, the Atlanta Olympic Games bombing, and the explosion aboard TWA Flight 800.
